Subject: Vacancy Notification - Commercial Trainee 2010-11 Department: Human resources Date: 18/11/2010 VACANCY NOTIFICATION FOR COMMERCIAL TRAINEE Siemens Ltd proposes to induct Trainees in Business Administration areas of the various Divisions/Departments in Siemens Ltd. The duration of this trainee program is one year. Applications are invited from the employee’s children who fulfill the following criteria: 1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: External Candidate: · Those B Com Graduates who have secured 60% & above marks in their Graduation and have passed the examinations in their first attempt are eligible to apply. The age of the applicants must not be more than 22 years. The Trainees on successful completion of training would be confirmed as Junior Executive Business Administration. · Students pursuing CA/ICWA and not more than 26 years of age can apply. The candidates must also have completed their Graduation with 60% & above marks and must have passed their graduation exam in their first attempt. The Trainee selected on successful completion of their training will be confirmed at the grades as per their Qualification and Experience. · Candidates having upto two years of experience in accounts/commercial field but satisfying the academic eligibility criteria as above can also apply. Age of such candidates will not be more than 26 years. The Trainees selected in this category would be confirmed as Executive Business Administration on completion of their training. Employee Children: · Those B Com Graduates who have secured 55% & above marks in their Graduation and have passed the examinations in their first attempt are eligible to apply. The age of the applicants must not be more than 22 years. The Trainees on successful completion of training would be confirmed as Junior Executive Business Administration. · Students pursuing CA/ICWA and not more than 26 years of age can apply. The candidates must also have completed their Graduation with 55% & above marks and must have passed their graduation exam in their first attempt. Candidates will have to appear for a set of written test which will include Test on basic Account knowledge and Aptitude test. Candidates passing the above test will be selected for the next round. The next round will be group discussion (GD) and personal interview. The Final list of candidates selected for offer will be announced thereafter. 3. We have released an advertisement for external candidates and post short listing of external candidates to appear for selection process as per the academic criteria, all the candidates (External as well as Employees children) will go through the same process as mentioned above. 4. The Trainee Program: The duration of the training will be 1 year. The training will include theory as well as behavioral inputs through various class room and on job training planned for the entire year. At the end of 1 year the candidate will be appraised. The selected candidate will be confirmed as Junior Executive/Executive Business Administration at various locations. 5.
