Job Description
Perform standard simulator support activities such as: installation, operation, inspection, periodic maintenance (align & adjust), of simulator components and systems.
Accountable for displaying a solid understanding regarding most of the operating principles of the Simulator and FTD sub-systems.
Able to identify, troubleshoot, repair or replace most of the simulator and FTD electrical and sub system components with only Minor to Moderate assistance.
Understanding of the operating principles of the hydraulic systems.
Able to repair malfunctioning FTD parts, as directed; this includes bench check, reinstallation and operation verification of the part, ensuring all indications and functions are in accordance with applicable technical specifications.
Able to exercise judgment and independence in determine solutions to maintenance and repair problems, and otherwise carry assignments through to completion, referring only the most unusual and difficult problems to the Lead Technician.
