The CRPF posts are temporary but likely to become permanent. Selected candidates will be governed by CRPF Act and Rules and shall be liable to serve any where in India and abroad.

Age: Between 18 to 25 years (Upper age limit is relaxable for SC / ST by 5 years and for OBC by 3 years.)
Qualification
Matric with English, Maths and General Science with three years diploma in Radio Engineering or Electronics or Computer from recognized Institution. or, B.Sc degree with Physics, Mathematics and English.
Selection Process:
The eligible candidates shall be issued CRPF ASI Admit Cards to appear in recruitment test. The date and place of Central Reserve Police Force ASI Recruitment Test will be indicated in Admit Cards. Candidates will have to undergo the following tests :
TESTS
1. Screening of their original educational certificates
2. Physical Measurement Test
3. Physical Efficiency Test ( PET )
4. Central Reserve Police Force ASI Written Examination 2012
5. CRPF ASI Interview and Personality Test.
6. Medical test
Result of CRPF ASI Written Test and final result after interview and medical examination in respect of successful candidates will be displayed at concerned recruitment centre from time to time on notice board and same will also be published in CRPF Website crpf.nic.in.

Application fee
CRPF ASI Exam Application fee will be Rupee 100/- per candidate belonging to General and OBC categories. There will be no fee charged from the SC / ST candidates. The candidates to attach Crossed Indian Postal Order ( Non – refundable ) drawn in favour of Commandant, __________ Signal BN, CRPF, payable at GPO / HPO of respective city where Signal Battalion located and application is being sent.
CRPF Assistant Sub Inspector Job Application in prescribed proforma along with requisite documents should reach the respective recruitment centre on or before 10.04.2012 (April 4,2012). For far flung areas it is 17.04.2012.
Required documents while submitting Application:
a) Matriculation Certificate or equivalent in support of their date of birth.
b) SC / ST and OBC caste certificate issued by an officer not below the rank of Tehsildar or SDM / SDO, which should be on the specific format prescribed by D.O.P & AR.,GOI as per letter No. 36012/76-Estt. ( S.C.T ), dated 29/10/1977 and D.O.P & T, O.M No. 36033/28/94 – Estt.( Res. ), dated 2.7.1997 respectively.
c) Mark sheet / Certificate(s) of Education / Technical Qualification as applicable for the post / category.
d) Permanent residential / Domicile Certificate issued by an officer not below the rank of Tehsildar or SDM / SDO for verification of citizenship of India. Nativity certificate issued by an officer not below the rank of Tehsildar or SDM / SDO by those claiming relaxation in height / chest.
e) One additional recent passport size colour photograph ( Similar to photograph as affixed on the CRPF ASI Recruitment application form and admit card ).
f) One self addressed envelop of size 4″x9″ duly affixed postal stamp worth Rupee 25/- for mailing by registered post.
g) Candidates serving in the Govt. Department / Semi – Government Offices / Undertakings / Organizations should also enclose No Objection Certificate issued by Competent Authority of their parent deptt. / employer.
h) Ex – Servicemen should also enclose attested photocopy of their discharge book.
