The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programs in IITs, NITs, and other centrally funded technical institutions in India.JEE, formerly known as the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), is a standardized computer-based test in India that facilitates admission to various technical undergraduate programs in engineering, architecture, and planning across the nation's colleges.
For admission to undergraduate programs at IITs and ISMU, a two-tier test system is employed. The first tier, known as JEE (Main), is conducted by the National Testing Agency(NTA). The second tier, JEE (Advanced), is organized by one of the seven zonal IITs (IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee, IIT Madras, IIT Guwahati, and IIT Kharagpur) under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB). JEE (Advanced) selects qualifying candidates from the JEE-Main for admission to bachelor's programs at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
Eligibility Criteria for JEE Main Exam
