 Last date for receipt of application at IGRUA : October 22, 2012


Course : Ab-initio to CPL Course

Training : Ground and flying training for issue of CPL with Multi–engine endorsement and Instrument Rating (IR) on Multi-engine Aircraft

Course Commencing date : March 2013

Number of seats: 80 nos

Course Duration : 18 months (may get extended)

Eligibility Criterias are given below:





Academic Qualification : Passed 10 + 2 or its equivalent with Physics, Maths & English as main subjects with minimum qualifying marks as below:

For General Candidates

i. Passed English at 10+2 level
ii. Minimum 55% Aggregate Marks in Maths & Physics

For SC / ST / OBC Candidates :

i. Passed English at 10+2 level
ii. Minimum 50% Aggregate Marks in Maths & Physics


Age : 17 years at the time of joining the course.

Candidates can also opt for B.Sc. (Aviation) Degree from Chatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj University Kanpur, conducted simultaneously with CPL Course, subject to completion of the prescribed syllabus on aviation subjects, flying at IGRUA and project work after completion of CPL. Duration of this course will be 03 years.


Selection procedure consists of Written Test, Viva/Interview and Pilot Aptitude/ Psychometric Test

Syllabus for Written Test: General English, Maths, Physics & Reasoning (10+2 level and objective type only).
