WATER RESOURCES DIVISION

The division is presently carrying out two projects namely – Tank Reliant Irrigation Development project for Chittoor district and Development of Tank Information System sponsored by I&CAD Department, Govt. of A.P

following Posts are to be filled for above mentioned projects:

Scientist / Engineer – SD Hydrology
(Rs. 15600-39100(PB-3)+Grade pay Rs.6600/- )
First Class Post Graduate in Hydrology / Water Resources
Or
First Class Post Graduate in Remote Sensing / Geo-informatics with B.E. Civil Engineering or equivalent
Minimum four years experience in the cadre of Scientist ‘C’ (or two year with PhD in relevant field or Dy. Exe. Engineer (Irrigation) or equivalent / above in the field of hydrological modelling
Advanced image processing techniques and GIS using the popular soft wares
Geospatial database handling

Experience in open source image processing and GIS softwares
Required to work in a multi disciplinary team engaged in hydrological analysis, performance analysis of irrigation projects, cropping pattern analysis, water pollution studies, watershed evaluation, using remote sensing and GIS techniques

Will report to Senior Scientific Officer / Director (Technical) and will lead a team of professional analysts working on the assignments


Scientist / Engineer- SC Hydrology (Modelling)
