The sailor post successful completion of initial training at INS Chilka will be allotted his branch. The decision to allot the branch/ trade will be as per the requirement of the service.

education : Qualified in 10 +2 with Maths and Physics and atleast one of these subjects Chemistry, Biology and Computer science.

INDIAN NAVY SAILOR RECRUITMENT 2013


Age : Candidates should be born between 01 August, 1992 and 31 July 1996 (Both dates inclusive)

Payment :

During training : 5700 pm

After successfull completeion of training Pay scale will be : 5200 - 20200 + other allowances

After Promotion , Pay scale is : 9300 - 38300 + GP 4800 + MSP 200 + DA and Other allowances

Selection Procedure is based on performance in Written test , Physical test and Medical test

The period of initial engagement of senior  secondary recruit sailor is 15 years and the service period is extendable till the cadidates age reaches 57. which inturn depends on ranks attained by the candidate and his performance.
