Indian Coast Guard has invited applications from unmarried male Indian nationals possessing educational qualification and age, as prescribed in the advertisement, for recruitment to the post of Yantrik.

Last date of application : February 14, 2013

Qualification: - Matriculate and three years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical/ Electronic Engg. with 60% in aggregate from an institution recognized by Central/State Government.

Age : 18 to 23 years

Applications will be accepted 'Online only' from February 4 to February 14 2013. Candidates should logon to www.joincoastguard.org and fill the online application.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates is based on the order of merit depending on their performance in Written Test, interview, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examination.

Sorting of Application >> Eligible candidates will be called for written test >> written tests will be objective type >> Those who qualify written tests will undergo Physical Fitness Test (PFT) >> interview >> Medical Examination (Preliminary).

Based on the performance in the written examination, candidates will be shortlisted for medical examination in a ratio as may be decided by Coast Guard.

The All India select list of candidates will be displayed in the Indian Coast Guard Website www.indiancoastguard.nic.in during July 2013.
