Educational Qualification :3 years full time Diploma in engineering from Govt. Recognised Institute with 2nd Class or 1st Class Certificate of Boiler Competency.
Age : Upto 30 years for General , Others have age relaxation as per rules

Period of Training :Minimum period of training is two (2) years for Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee), Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) which can be extended as per rules.
