Workshop Fitter (Mechanical)
Workshop Fitter (Smith), Structure Fitter and Propulsion Fitter
Weapon Fitter, Electrical Fitter, Electronic Fitter, Mechanical System Fitter and Automobile Fitter
Last date for receipt of applications at the Central Airmen Selection Board is MAY 23 2013
Post : Airmen in Group "X" (Technical) trades
Age : Candidate should be born between 01 September 1993 to 30 December 1996 (both days inclusive).
Educational Qualification
(a) Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination with Mathematics, Physics and English, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
(b) Three year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with minimum 50% marks in overall aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma.
Medical Standards:
(i) Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cms.
(ii) Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm
(iii) Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
(iv) Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) not acceptable.
(v) Hearing: Normal
(vi) Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
(vii) Health: Candidate should be free from medical or surgical deformity.
