SASHASTRA SEEMA BAL (SSB) has invited Applications from Indian male citizens for filling up following positions of ASI , HC and Constables (Telecommunications) under Ministry of Home Affairs.
The last date for receipt of applications is June 20-2013. Interested candidates are requested to download application fromat from the link given at the end of the post , dully fill it and along with DD of application fee send it to the address given in the advertisement on or before June 20, 2013

Education : Matric with Diploma in Electronics or Telecommunication from an Institution recognized by the State Government or equivalent Or 10+2 Or Intermediate with aggregate marks of fifty percent with selective subjects being
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or Institution or equivalent.
Head Constable (Telecommunication)
Pay scale : 5200-20200 + 2400 in PB-I

Age : 18 to 23
Education : Matriculation or equivalent plus two years I.T.I. Certificate in Electronics
or
Intermediate or 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board or institution or equivalent.
Constable (Telecommunication)
Pay scale : 5200-20200 + 2000 in PB-I

Age : 18 to 23
Education : Matriculation or equivalent with Science from a recognized Board/ Institute or equivalent.
PHYSICAL AND MEDICAL STANDARDS:
Height :170 Cms
Chest : 80 Cms to 85 Cms
Weight Corresponding to height and age as per medical standards.
Eye Sight: Should be medically fit in all respects (Eye sight 6/6 and 6/9 of
two eyes without wearing glasses.
(b) Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with
the efficient performance of the duties.
APPLICATION FEE: The candidates belonging to General and OBC Category will be required to pay Rs 50/- (non refundable) as application fee in the form of Bank Draft in favor of “Accounts Officer, SSB, FTR HQ,
Lucknow,” payable at SBI Branch, Lucknow (UP).

PHYSICAL EFFICIENTY TEST (PET)
WRITTEN EXAMINATION (100 MARKS):
The candidates who qualify PST & PET, will be required to appear in written examination which comprise multiple choice objective type questions
MEDICAL EXAMINATIOIN: The candidates who qualify the Written Test will be put through detailed medical examination
HOW TO APPLY:
Eligible and interested candidates should send their Applications (duly filled in) complete in
all respect along with Admit Card duly filled in, in the prescribed pro-forma as per
Annexure-I and Annexure-II of Advertisement Given below.
