Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) RECRUITMENT OF Sub-Inspectors and Head Constables in Technical Cadre
SSB invited Applications from eligible Indian citizens for selection for filling up the following Technical Cadre posts in the rank of Sub-Inspectors (Pioneer) and Head Constables(Workshop) in SSB for the year 2013.
Pay scale for Sub-Inspectors : Rs. 9300-34800 + 4200 in PB-II per month plus other allowances
Pay scale for Head Constables : Rs. 5200-20200 + 2400 in PB-I per month plus other allowances
Work Location: All over India and abroad.
Last date of receipt of application is July 20, 2013

Sub-Inspector (Pioneer)
Age : Upto 30 Years
Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute
Head Constable ( Workshop)
Age : 18 to 25 years
a) Passed Matriculation from a recognized Board or Equivalent.
b) Passed the Diploma in Automobile or Motor Mechanical Engineering or Two year certificate course in Automobile or Motor Mechanical Engineering from a Government recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI) or Equivalent.2
c) Must possess valid Driving License for Heavy Vehicle.
Desirable: - 2 years experience in an authorized garage or workshop.
METHOD OF RECRUITMENT
The selection process shall consist of following stages:-
I) Documentation
II) Physical Standard Test (PST)
III) Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
IV) Written Test
V) Technical test (Trade Test)
VI) Final Medical Examination
VII) Review Medical Examination
APPLICATION FEE: RS 50/- as DD in favour of Accounts Officer, FTR HQ SSB, Patna, (Bihar) payable at SBI Patna

Eligible and interested candidates should send their Applications (duly filled in) complete in all respect along with Admit Card duly filled in, in the prescribed pro-forma as per Annexure-I and Annexure-II of advertisement.
