Position : Junior Engineer (Test Design Engineer)

Experience : 0 - 2 Years

Qualification : Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

Role description: Test Design Engineer
The Test Design Engineer will be a member of a team responsible for the development and implementation of functional tests for new and existing ADTRAN products
. This is an entry-level position where the work is primarily focused on learning and developing professional concepts within test design engineering. Assignments are designed to establish professional work knowledge and abilities. Entry-level Engineers will normally receive detailed instructions on assignments and will follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data.

Skills :

C/C++ object-oriented programming experience, standard debugging methodologies, hardware design, software version control tools, communications test development tools (MIB browsers, terminal emulation packages, network monitoring software), experience required.

Knowledge in basic communications technologies (Ethernet, TCP/IP, SNMP, ATM, switches, routers) and in telecommunications carrier technologies (DSLAM, xDSL, DS1, DS3, SONET, SDH, EoCu) is preferred. JAVA and Perl experience is a plus.
