Azim Premji Foundation is a not-for-profit organization with an overarching goal to contribute to a just, equitable, humane and sustainable society in India.Here is an amazing opportunity provided by the foundation to candidates from various backgrounds who are willing to explore the social sector and have the desire to contribute to the society. A national level test will be conducted on August 11 2013 for the selection of suitable candidates.

About Program
This is a 2 Year program which is divided in 3 sections mentioned below:
5 weeks classroom module to strengthen conceptual understanding of education and development issues
22 months of intense field engagement at the grass roots level in the District Institutes of the Foundation.
Working on a live project that has significant purpose of improving quality at practice level.
Stiphend : A monthly stipend of Rs. 26,000 will be given to candidates who are enrolled in this fellowship program.
duration of the program : 2 years
Eligibility:
Candidates should have post-graduate or a professional degree in any discipline and 2 to 6 years of work experience
During the Fellowship period candidates will be based in some of the most underdeveloped districts of India.
The initial 5 weeks orientation would be in Bangalore. Subsequent field posting would in the District Institutes.
Selection Process:
After submitting the online application, shortlisted candidates will go through a test which will be a combination of multiple choice questions and essay type questions. The test will have sections that examine candidates on social awareness, passion to contribute to social sector, good interpersonal skills, openness to learn, and result orientation. Candidates, who clear the written test, will be called for a personal interview.
