Employment notice no. 02/2013 dated 11.07.2013 : Central railway is recruiting Ex-service men for various Group D posts
Central railway Recruitment for filling 905 Posts under Ex-Servicemen quota
Applications are invited from eligible Ex-Servicemen who fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below for filling up 905 vacancies in Pay Band-1 of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1800 (Erstwhile Group ‘D’) in Central Railway.

Eligibility: Matric or its equivalent and Ex-Serviceman who have retired after putting in 15 years of service in the Armed force of the Union of India and have passed Army Class-I certificate or equivalent are eligible to apply.
Age limit:
1. For UR candidates : 33 years + extent of military service + 3 years
2. For SC/ST candidates : 38 years + extent of military service + 3 years
3. For OBC candidates : 36 years + extent of military service + 3 years
Educational Qualification:- Matric or its equivalent. Those who have been enrolled in the Armed Forces with Non-Matric and discharged with Pension after Completing 15 years of service will be treated as equivalent to Matriculate and those who have been enrolled with Matriculation and discharged with pension after completing 15 years of service will be treated as equivalent to Graduate.

Eligible candidates should submit their applications in the format attached to the notification. Along with the necessary enclosure the filled in applicatiopn should reach the following address on or before Aug 26, 2013

A Xerox copy of the discharge certificate/book.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST community should produce a community certificate in the format given in Annexure- ‘A’ of this notification. Candidates belonging to OBC community should also produce a community certificate in the format given in Annexure-‘B’ to this notification. In addition, they should also submit a declaration given in Annexure-‘C’ of advertisement
Proof of possessing academic Qualification Army Class – I Certificate. (Self attested)
One passport size photograph (not older than 3 months) without wearing cap & goggles/coloured glasses has to be pasted in the application format.
