South Eastern railway Recruitment for filling 785 Group "D" Posts under Ex-Servicemen quota
Applications are invited from eligible Ex-Servicemen who fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below for filling up 785 vacancies in Pay Band-1 of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1800 (Erstwhile Group ‘D’) in South Eastern Railway.

Eligibility: Ex-Serviceman who have retired after putting in 15 years of service in the Armed force of the Union of India and have passed Army Class-I certificate or equivalent are eligible to apply.
Educational Qualification:- Matric or its equivalent. Those who have been enrolled in the Armed Forces with Non-Matric and discharged with Pension after Completing 15 years of service will be treated as equivalent to Matriculate and those who have been enrolled with Matriculation and discharged with pension after completing 15 years of service will be treated as equivalent to Graduate.
Age limit:
1. For UR candidates : 33 years + extent of military service + 3 years
2. For SC/ST candidates : 38 years + extent of military service + 3 years
3. For OBC candidates : 36 years + extent of military service + 3 years
Exam Fee : Nil
How to apply:
Eligible candidates should submit their applications in the format attached to the notification. Along with the necessary enclosure the filled in applicatiopn should reach the following address on or before Aug 26, 2013

The envelope containing the application should be super-scribed on top – “Employment Notice No. P/DCPO/RRC/GR.D/ESM/03/2013, Recruitment in Group-D against Ex-Servicemen Quota”. Applications received after the closing time and date will not be considered.
Enclosures that should be sent along with the application:
(i) A Xerox copy of the discharge certificate/book.
(ii) Proof of possessing academic Qualification Army Class – I Certificate.
(Self attested)
(iii) Proof of Date of Birth.
(iv) Candidates belonging to SC/ST community should produce a community certificate in the format given in Annexure- ‘A’ of
this notification. Candidates belonging to OBC community should also produce a community certificate in the format given in
Annexure-‘B’ to this notification. In addition, they should also submit a declaration given in Annexure-‘C’
(v) One passport size photograph (not older than 3 months) without wearing cap & goggles/coloured glasses has to be pasted
in the application format.
