UPSC Geologists Examination (GEOL) 2013  Notification for selection of Geologists and Hydrogeologists
Union Public Service Commission UPSC has invited online application from eligible candidates for Geologists Examination (GEOL) 2013 which will be conducted from November 9 onwards. This exam is for selection of suitable candidates for the posts mentioned below:

Following posts are in Geological survey of India
Geologists Group A : 50 nos
Assistant Geologists Grade 1 Group B : 25 nos

Following posts are in Central ground water board
Junior Hydrogeologist ( Scientist B) Group A: 33 nos
Assistant Hydrogeologist Group B: 39 nos

 Last date to apply online : September 23, 2013


Eligibility:
Citizenship : Indian or as per advertisement

Age :
For geologists : 21 - 32 years
For Hydrogeologist : 21 - 35 years

Qualification:

For geologists : masters degree in Geological Science / Geology / Applied Geology / Geo Exploration / Mineral exploration / marine geology

For Hydrogeologist : masters degree in Geological Science / Geology / hydro geology
