HPRB Advertisement No. 1/2014 : Haryana police Recruitment Board (HPRB) has invited online applications from Young and energetic Male and female candidates for the section under Sports quota towards the post of Constables in Haryana Police. Interested candidates are requested to apply online through HPRB's website.

Name of post : Male and female constables (sports quota)
Pay Scale:- Rs. 5200-20200 plus GP of Rs. 2000/-.
Total number of posts: 308
(A) Male Constable :298
(B) Female Constable :10
Eligibility criteria:
Age: 18 to 21 years
Education:
(a) 10+2 for all categories.
(b) The candidate, who have secured position in National School Games, National Level Tournaments organized by recognized National federations or who have obtained 1st and 2nd position in State Level Tournaments organized by the State and / or by State Federation/ Association recognized by the
State will be put through Physical Efficiency Test under the existing recruitment rules.
Physical Standards:
Male:
(a) Height-Minimum : 5’-7”
(b) Chest-Un-expanded – Minimum :33” Expanded - Minimum :34 1/2 (Minimum expansion of one and half inch)
Female : Height- Minimum 5’-2”
Method of selection: Document verification, Written test, Physical Efficiency Test , Interview
The sporting skills of candidates, who clear the physical efficiency test will be tested through the trial games/ competitions. Those who are found upto the desired standard will be permitted to appear in interview. In case, sportspersons of required standard are not available such seats shall not be filled up.
Application fees:
The male candidates : Rs. 100/-
Female candidates : Rs. 50/- .
The candidate should deposit fee in any branch of State Bank of Patiala after 48 hours of filling online application and e-challan generation and within the date as indicated in the Bank e-challan.
