Indian Air Force (IAF) recruitment rally at Cubbon Road Bangalore for Airmen Group "Y" posts - date: April 20 to 25, 2014
Indian Air Force (IAF) will conduct a recruitment rally at Bangalore for selection towards the post of Airmen in Group Y (for automobile technician, ground training instructor and Air Force police) trades. The rally will start from April 20 till April 25.

Pay scale:
During traing : stipend of Rs. 8,550/-per month
After completion of training : Rs. 19,475/-per month - Rs.36,784/-per month

Location : Cubbon road, Bangalore
Role description:
Indian Air Force(Police): Your responsibilities involve assuming police duties and investigation of offences. You are also incharge of maintenance of security.
Ground Training Instructor (GTI): You will train personnel on parade, drill, physical exercise and handling of arms. You are also responsible for organising and conducting all sports and games activities.
Automobile Technician:You will carry out all types of heavy , light and medium automobiles , load carriers and specialist vehicles like towing tractors, cranes, fork lifters etc. subject to service exigencies. You will also carry out day to day maintenance, minor repairs and basic level servicing of the common user vehicles and specialist vehicles in the IAF inventory.

Place of Domicile : designated Districts of State of Karnataka
Nationality : Indian citizens
Age: Candidates should be born between August 01 1994 to November 30 1997 ( upto 21 years as of date of recruitment rally)
Educational Qualification : Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / equivalent examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central/State Education Boards, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English OR Passed two year Vocational Course affiliated/recognised by CBSE / State Education Boards /Councils duly recognised at par with 10+2 by AIU with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.
Mode of selection : written test.>> physical fitness test (pft) . >> interview.>> medical examination.
