CBSE has invited online applications from candidates who want to appear in Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) which will be conducted during September 2014.
Interested candidates are requested to apply online.
Date of CTET 2014 exam: September 21 2014
Last date to apply online : August 4, 2014
Stages: Primary Stage and Elementary Stage
Primary Stage : Std I to V
Elementary Stage: Std VI to VIII
Educational Qualification:
Paper I (Primary Stage) : 50% Marks in Senior secondary + 2 years diploma in elementary education
Paper I (Elementary Stage) : Bachelors degree + ( 2 years diploma in elementary education / BEd )

Candidates who are looking for Primary Stage should appear for Paper I
Candidates who are looking for Elementary Stage should appear for Paper II
Eligible candidates can appear in both exams.
CTET 2014 Syllabus: please refer the Notification give at CTET website
Exam time: 2.5 hours ,
There is no Negative marks
Exam will be of Multiple choice questions
Application Fee:
For Paper I or Paper II : Rs 600 ( SC/ST : Rs 300 )
For Paper I + Paper I : Rs 1000 ( SC/ST : Rs 500 )
You can pay fee by challan , debit or credit cards
