For candidates seeking eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and lectureship in Science and technology subjects , Council of Scientific and Industrial Research ( CSIR ) has invited online applications for CSIR UGC NET Exams. Candidates can apply for both JRF and lectureship OR for any of this.
Date of CSIR UGC NET Exam : December 21, 2014
Mode of application : Apply Online
Last Date for application submission: August 13, 2014
Expected announcement of results : March / April 2015
Joint CSIR-UGC Test For Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship on 21st December, 2014
Fellowship duration : Fellowship is for 2 years from April 1, 2015
UGC NET Exams will be conducted for following subjects
Educational Qualification:
Atleast 55% in above subjects for 4 year BS program / BE / BPharma / MBBS /Integrated BS MS /MSc or equivalent
Age limit:
JRF : upto 28 years on July 1, 2014 ( for reserved category 33 years)
lectureship : There is no age limit
Examination mode:
Date of Exam : December 21 2014
Question Type: Only one Paper of Multiple choice questions . There will be three parts A,B & C
Examination Time: 3 hours

UGC NET Application Fees: General - Rs 400/- ; For reserved - Rs 200; ; For Handicapped - Rs 100/-
Fees can be paid using challan downloaded from website.
How to apply : Interested candidates are requested to apply online through CSIR website before August 13, 2014. Candidates can apply for both JRF and lectureship OR for any of this. Hard copy ( printout) of the successfully completed application along with required documents should reach office through Ordinary post on or before August 19, 2014
