UPSC (Union Public Services Commission) has issued Notification (Advt no: 12/2014-CDS-II) for selection of suitable candidates for various defense forces of India through Combined Defence Services Examination 2014.

Gender : moth Men and Women candidates can apply

There will be non technical short service commison course for women candidates

Selection is for courses in following academies:

1. Indian Military Academy Dehradun
2. Naval Academy , Ezhimala
3. Airforce Academy - Hyderabad
4. Officers Training Academy Chennai

Height:
Men - 157.5 cm (For navy 157 cm and for Airforce 162.5cm)
Women - 152 cm

weight: proportionate to height

chest : only for men - atleast 5cm expansion
