Indian Army recruitment rally at Ashramam Ground Kollam on October 11 to 18 , 2014 for selection of Soldiers
Army Recruitment Offices ( ARO) in Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode will be organising a recruitment rally for Male candidates at Kollam ( Quilon) Kerala for selection towards Soldier posts.
Candidates from following districts can attend rally on respective dates mentioned below:
Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam ,Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad and Kannur
Recruitments by ARO Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram ) and ARO Calicut (Kozhikode)
Recruitment is for following posts:
Date of Recruitment rally : Oct 11 to 18 2014
Candidates from Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Ernakulam districts can attend Recruitment rally on October 11 to 14
Candidates from Thrissur, Palakkad and Kannur districts can attend Recruitment rally during October 15 to 18
Time : Candidates have to report at 4 pm on the day before the rally and at 5 am on the rally day.
Eligibility Criteria
Soldier (Technical)
Education : 10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.
Age : 17 ½ – 23 Years
height : 165 cm
Chest : 77 cms with 5cm expansion
Weight : 50 kg
Soldier General Duty
Education : SSLC/Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 32% in each subject.
No percentage considered in case candidate has passed higher qualification ie 10+2 and above.
Age : 17 ½ – 21 Years
Height : 166 cm
Chest : 77 cms with 5cm expansion
Weight : 50 kg
Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper Technical (All Arms)
Education : 10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject.
Age : 17 ½ – 23 Years
Chest : 77 cms with 5cm expansion
Weight : 50 kg
Height : : 162 cm
Soldier Tradesmen
Education : 10th / ITI ( except Syce. Mess Keeper and House Keeper-who may be 8th pass).

- Dependent Certificate (in case of son of Ex-servicemen/ War Widow/Widow) signed by record office.
