National Institute of Fashion Technology NIFT Online application for admission to Degree and PG courses in Fashion and Design Technology
National Institute of Fashion Technology ( NIFT ), an Institute of Design, Management and Technology, under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, has invited online applications for the admissions to the Bachelor and Master Degree Programmes for the Academic year 2015.
Interested candidates are requested to apply online on or before 10th of January 2014.
Online Application date : November 10th 2014 to January 10th 2015
Last Date for Submission of application:16th January 2015
NIFT Course centers : Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Kangra, Kannur, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patna, Raebareli, and Shillong.
Course name and Specialisations:
Bachelor Programmes in Design (B.Des) : Accessory Design, Fashion Communication, Fashion Design, Knitwear Design, Leather Design and Textile Design.
Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech): Apparel Production Specialization.
Masters Degree in Fashion Technology (M.F.Tech) :Design, Fashion Management and Fashion Technology.,
Eligibility :
For Degree course : Plus two level examination in the 10+2 pattern ; Age limit : 23 years as on 1st October, 2014.
Master Programme-Technology (M.F.Tech.) is B.F.Tech from NIFT or B.E / B.Tech ; there is no upper age limit.

The last date for submission of online application is 10th January, 2015.
For Admission to 2015 session, candidate will have multiple options for taking the admission test as given below:
For any single programme a candidate may appear for the test on
8th February 2015 (Sunday)
22nd February 2015 (Sunday)
8th February 2015 (Sunday) & 22nd February 2015 (Sunday)
B.FTech., M.F.M. and M.FTech candidates have an option to opt for Paper Based Test (PBT) or Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates opting for CBT must indicate their choice of giving CBT at the time of applying. For B.Des and M.Des, only PBT will be administered.
Candidate has the option to apply for two programmes; taking test for the first programme on 08th Feb 2015 and for the Second Programme on 22nd Feb 2015
In case a candidate has appeared for the test twice for the same programme; the better of the two scores will be considered.
Separate FEE and APPLICATION are to be submitted for each date and/or programme
Candidate has to apply with same email id if applying for both phase I and II.
