National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis Chennai( NIRT ) - Applications are invited for the post of Staff Nurse and Lower Division Clerk.

Staff Nurse : 6 posts - PB-2, Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4600/
(i) Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from a recognized Board or Council; and (ii) Registered as a Nurse or Nurse and Midwife (RN or RN and RM) with State Nursing Council.
Age limit : 30 years relaxable to 40 years in case of departmental Candidates. Also age is relaxable for SC/ST candidates upto 45 years.
Lower Division Clerk - 3 posts
PB-1, Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
Between 18 and 27 years of age
(i) 12 th Class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) A Typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English on manual Typewriter or a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English on computer.
(35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word)
