Indian Navy selection of Engineers as officers in Short Service Commission and Permanent Commission - Apply Online
Indian Navy, the Naval branch of Indian Armed forces is recruiting Engineer as Short Service Commissioned (SSC) officers
Applications are invited for June 2018 batch of Engineers for Short Service Commission in Executive Branch (General Service/Hydro) & Technical Branch (General Service/ Naval Architecture) and Permanent Commission (PC) in Naval Armament Inspectorate Cadre (NAIC).
Gender : Unmarried Males and Females can apply for Naval Architecture. For all other branches only Male candidates can apply.
Age :18 – 24 years (should be born between 02 July 1993 to 01 Jan 1999)
Education Qualification: candidate should be in their final year (4th / 5th year) of the respective qualification and should have minimum 60% marks.
Pay scale : Rs. 72,444/- to Rs. 81,700/–
When to apply; Apply online from 5th August 2017 to 25th August 2017
SSB Interview will be held during November 2017 – March 2018
Training: Candidates will be inducted as officers in the rank of Sub Lieutenant. Their training will start on Jun 2018 at Ezhimala Indian Naval Academy. Officer of Tech (GS) & NA/ NAIC will have 22 Weeks Naval Orientation Course and Officer of Executive GS(X)/Hydro will have 44 Weeks Naval orientation Course at Ezhimala Naval Academy. There after they will be given professional training in Naval Ships and other Naval Training Establishments.
