UGC has invited online applications from candidates for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Assistant Professor. Details of the notification are given below:

Education : PG (55%)

Last date for Online application :  May 05, 2014

Last date for fee payment :  May 07, 2014

Last date for receiving the printout of online Application Form :  May 15, 2014

Educational qualification : Candidates who have scored at least 55% marks  in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination  in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test.

Age :
Junior Research Fellowship: Not more than 28 years as on 01.06.2014
Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit

Exam Fee : General :Rs.450/-
ORC :    Rs.225/-
SC/ST/PWD:    Rs.110/-


How to apply : Interested candidates must apply online (i.e. www.ugcnetonline.in OR through a link available on the UGC website: www.ugc.ac.in ).  Pay fee and send the printout of application along with document mentioned below:

1. Submit your online application and take print of bank challan. On next working day deposit the fee in any SBI branch.
2. Two working days after the payment of fee, login to www.ugcnetonline.in and take printout of Online Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admission Card. Submit the Application Form, Attendance Slip and Bank Challan along with relivent documents at the respective Coordinating University/college (opted by the candidate).

The candidates should send the following documents with printout on separate A-4 size papers of their online Application Form (one copy) and Attendance Slip (one copy) :-
Original copy of Bank Challan (UGC copy).
Attested copies of OBC (Non creamy layer)/SC/ST/Persons with Disability (PWD) certificates, in case applicable.
Certificate of educational qualification/research experience, in case applicable, entitling the candidate for age relaxation, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.
